We welcome a DJ whose Boiler Room set for Yung Singh was selected as one of the best mixes of the year by Mixmag in 2022!
Saachi joins us for a 4 hour Deep Dig into her music collection on Aug 12!
Saachi’s sets are a focused blend of house, breaks, UKG, bass line, electro. Expect to hear those styles and maybe more as she plays a rare extended set in intimate settings
She has since gone on to play the likes of Lost Village festival, Gala and Dialled In Festival. Saachi is also a resident DJ at Girls Need Music and Selextorhood which works to raise the profile of women in music.
Dare Balogun (Vandelay Radio) will be warming up on the terrace from 6 till 10pm.
Originally from Nigeria, Dare Balogun is a DJ, producer and radio host with a strong passion for global dance music, playing a mix of highlife, soukous, fuji and wider styles from Sub-Saharan Africa alongside more familiar formats such as house, techno and jungle to challenge the current Euro-centric definition of dance music, and expose different forms to new audiences.
At the core of his output is an ethos to never take anything too seriously, demonstrated by Vandelay Radio, an online independent radio station founded by Dare in 2018 with a reputation for their freedom and fun centred attitude, as seen by their wide variety of music tastes from DJs all around the world, and their social media archive filled with oddly specific cultural references and a passion for funny food pairings.
Deepdig is a night curated by Grow, that brings some of our favourite DJs and producers to play the sets that they don’t usually get to play at bigger venues and festivals. Expect lengthy, no holds barred DJ sets in intimate settings, where they have free reign to take the crowd in whatever direction they like.
Previous guests include DJ Amir, K15, Laani, My Analog Journal & Thristian,
