We’re a short walk from Hackney Wick Overground Station, and about 10 minutes from Stratford via the Olympic Park.

In May 2025, we have a spring collaboration with Hearth Bakery so you can choose from their menu Wednesday-Friday daytimes.
PETS, CHILDREN AND BIKES
Can I bring my bike?
Yes, there are bike racks at the entrance. Please bring your own lock. You are not able to bring bikes into the venue. Fold up bikes can be brought in with permission from the Duty Manager.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, dogs are welcome and allowed until 8pm. They must be on a lead and stay close to your table.
Can I bring children?
Yes, under-18s are welcome until 8pm if accompanied by a parent or guardian and seated at your table.

PAYMENTS & ID
Do you accept cash?
No. Grow is a cashless venue—card payments only.
Do I need ID?
Yes. Most events are 18+. Challenge 25 is in effect. Bring valid photo ID (passport, driving licence) as you may be asked if you look 25 or under.
CAMERAS & RECORDING
Can I take photos or film at events?

CLOAKROOM & LOST PROPERTY
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes. £2 per item at the main bar. Availability may depend on the event.
What if I lose something?
Email: reservations@growhackney.co.uk with a detailed description and we will do our best to locate it and respond. Items are kept for 2 weeks.
BOOKINGS & SEATING
Can I book a table?
Yes. 30% of tables are available to book; the rest are for walk-ins. Early arrival is recommended.
Are reservations free?
Yes, reservations are free to make. However, card details are required to confirm the booking.
How long is a booking for?
Bookings for over 8 people are made for 3 hours. After that, your table(s) will be made available for other customers. If you are a group of less than 8, you will get notified the length of your booking by Opentable when making the booking.
How do I book a table?
Up to 8 people: via OpenTable on our website
9–30 people: complete the large group booking request form (please ensure to read the T&Cs before submitting and submission doesn’t guarantee confirmation)
Are there limits on group bookings?
Yes. Large group bookings are limited to 30 people for a 3-hour session. For more than 30 people, you can enquire but a hire fee may apply.
What are the latest booking times for large groups?
Fridays: latest start time is 8pm
Saturdays: latest start time is 6pm
What happens if we arrive late or change plans?
You may be charged £25 per table and/or lose your booking in the event of:
A no-show
Late arrival or fewer than 50% of your group arriving on time
Last-minute cancellation or changes
Not checking in at the bar upon arrival
Do all guests need to be there at the start time?
Guests arriving after the booking starts may need to queue and are not guaranteed entry if we reach capacity.
Is there a door charge?
After 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, guests must join the general queue, if there is one, and will be charged on entry.
Do I need to confirm guest numbers or times?
Yes. Please confirm changes to timings or guest numbers at least 72 hours in advance by emailing reservations@growhackney.co.uk. We’ll do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee we can make last minute adjustments.
Can I bring decorations?
Please contact us in advance if you’re planning decorations—you’ll need permission.
What seating options are available?
Stage Area – Indoor seating near the bar and stage (event-dependent)
Mezzanine – Indoor seating above the main bar
Greenhouse – Covered, heated indoor/outdoor area
Terrace – Outdoor canal-side tables, mostly covered and heated
We reserve the right to allocate the location and number of tables.
Is all outdoor seating sheltered?
Most is, but not all. Please check the weather and dress accordingly.
FOOD & DRINK
What is your menu?
For food, see our Kitchen Menu . For drink, please see our Drink menu.
Will all our food arrive at the same time?
Not necessarily. All dishes are freshly made to order, so they may arrive at different times.
How do I order food and drinks?
At the main bar, outside bar (when open), or by scanning QR codes on tables. The QR system may be offline during busy times. Please bring your table number to the bar when ordering, you will need it to make your order.
Can I preorder?
Only available for large group bookings.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
No, except in allergy-specific cases and only with prior written permission. Email: reservations@growhackney.co.uk

ALLERGENS
What should I know about allergens?
We have Gluten Free Options on our menu. However it is important to note, we handle all allergens in our kitchen and bars, so we cannot guarantee allergen-free food or drink.
Can you accommodate coeliac guests?
Unfortunately, we are unable to serve coeliacs safely. However, with advance notice, coeliac guests are welcome to bring their own food. Please email reservations@growhackney.co.uk to make request.
WEATHER & EVENT CHANGES
What happens in bad weather?
In bad weather conditions, performances may be moved indoors. Full refunds are issued only if Grow cancels the event.
Can I get a refund if I can’t come?
We are unable to issue refunds for pre-booked and pre-paid events. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to pass your ticket to a friend.
EVENTS & TICKETS
What kind of events do you host?
We hold a diverse range of free or low-cost events including live music, DJs, workshops, talks, and community gatherings.

How do I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door. Check our events calendar for full details.
Can I get a refund if I can’t come?
We are unable to issue refunds for pre-booked and pre-paid events. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to pass your ticket to a friend.
What if Grow cancels?
If we need to cancel, we’ll notify you as early as possible. A full refund will be given. Note: In some cases, performances may be moved indoors or to another part of the venue.
Do I need to book in advance to come to Grow?
No. We operate a hybrid model: 30% of tables are pre-bookable, and 70% are walk-in. If you can’t reserve, feel free to drop by. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
