Rustic Cuts Records are back for our Autumn Session, seeing in the Halloween weekend. We're bringing a stacked line up of fresh London talent. Rustic Cuts parties are blurring the lines between electronic and live music, curating eclectic line ups to take you from dusk till dawn.
Grace is a London-based DJ who holds residencies at Balamii and Voices Radio. Her shows are dedicated to showcasing the musical contributions of artists from West and Central Africa. Through her platform, she aims to promote and celebrate the diverse and rich musical heritage of these regions. Check out her recent My Analog Journal for a little flavour of her world.
Drawing influences from a multitude of styles, including jazz, hip-hop, soul, electronica, and afro/latin sounds, Calaida's DJ sets are all about creating a feel-good atmosphere. She's performed all across the UK alongside the likes of Nubya Garcia, DJ Maseo (De La Soul), Killah Priest (Wu Tang), K15, Touching Bass and Tash LC. What you’re sure to find weaving through any Calaida set is a soulful, infectious groove; “if it feels right, it’s alright”.
Freddie (Waxtek) is a Liverpool based DJ and producer who co-runs the soundsystem crew, Poly One Audio. His sets and productions go hand in hand, with scattered percussive rhythms and infectious basslines taking the forefront.
Reuben Turvey and the Rustic Cuts Band are back with fresh music and a crafted live show. Reuben has garnered support from BBC Introducing and recently released his first vinyl and has a fresh dubplate on the way.
Rustic Cuts regulars Max (Vandelay Radio) and Moro (Rustic Cuts / Kinematic), will be rounding this on. We'll also be selling our latest record, prints by Rosie Rackham and merch throughout the night.
The Rustic Cuts Summer Session was a sell out, with Earful of Wax (Rinse FM) headlining, the Rustic Cuts band, Vandelay Radio and more in support. We're expecting another busy one!
