Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

ABOUT THE DJS
We’re thrilled to welcome back Cosmo Sofi for a headline slot as she continues to gain incredible momentum within the club and festival scene. Having performed for DeepDig last year, bringing the vibes to the terrace and hosting a jam-packed party for her Algo Ritmos event with Coco Maria and SweetNightJoe, we’re just a tad excited about what she has in store for this four-hour set.
Cosmo Sofi, a London-based Uruguayan DJ and Secretsundaze resident, has been captivating audiences with her eclectic, soulful sets. From jazz to jungle, house to ambient, and everything in between, Sofi’s ability to connect with her audience is unmatched. With recent performances at major festivals and iconic clubs, she’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in the scene.
Joining her is Sanoy, the Italian/Ethiopian DJ and Radio Raheem Milano host, whose global perspective and dynamic energy guarantee an unforgettable set. Sanoy’s vibrant and authentic sound is perfect for keeping the dance floor alive all night long.
Expect an intimate party atmosphere, extended sets, and a deep dive into the best records from two phenomenal selectors.

DeepDig is a night curated by Grow, that brings some of our favourite DJs and producers to play the sets that they don’t usually get to play at bigger venues and festivals. Expect lengthy, no-holds-barred DJ sets in intimate settings, where they have free reign to take the crowd in whatever direction they like. Limited Pre-sale tickets: £5, £7 (limited availability on RA). Free before 9 PM, the majority of tickets are on the door for £10 after.

There is no seating for the performance but you can book tables up until 8pm in other areas of the venue to enjoy food and drink and still enjoy the event in the main area. If you don’t book in advance, arriving early is recommended as tables are on a first-come-first-served basis.

Ondo Onda, a DJ collective known for spreading "good vibes only," has been showcasing their sound on Netil Radio for the past five years. Now, they’re celebrating their 5th birthday in style at Grow.
Ondo Onda is a DJ collective dedicated to spreading "good vibes only," showcased monthly for 5 years on their show at Netil Radio. The collective features Plinio (Brazil), Koichi Sakai (Japan), Cosmo Sofi (Uruguay), and DJ Beggé (UK), blending global sounds with a simple mission: to connect people and music, spreading joy through an ever-growing family of DJs and collaborators. These include Mari Kimura, Gerah, Pedro Zuim, Lex Blondin, Volta 45, Sanoy, and more.

Showcasing London’s favourite emerging DJ Rohan Rakhit, we bring you a night of community-centric global sounds, centring marginalised music and voices, all night long.
Meet Rohan Rakhit a vibrant DJ, broadcaster, and actor, and a key player in the Asian Underground crew Daytimers. With a knack for spinning diverse tunes, Rohan holds residencies at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, Sister Midnight, and Social Records Society. His radio and live shows have built him a devoted fanbase. Passionate about uplifting emerging artists and marginalized voices, Rohan brings a community-first vibe to the music scene. Catch him lighting up top London spots like the Jazz Café, The Cause, Corsica Studios, and Colour Factory, or rocking festival stages at We Out Here, Brainchild, Lost Village, and Glastonbury.
Kisa, a key member of the Pan-African music collective Sample Chief and a resident DJ for London's Utopia party scene, curates soul-healing tunes from all corners of the music world. Inspired by the lively energy of New York Loft culture and the iconic vibes of Manchester’s Reno club, Kisa loves spinning in cozy spaces where the music truly speaks for itself, captivating everyone in the room.
Starting out as a DJ during the pandemic, she’s quickly made a name for herself, playing at the We Out Here festival and even landing on Mixmag’s prestigious ‘best mixes of the year’ list in 2023. Kisa’s name is steadily rising on international lineups, sharing the stage with big names like Shy One, Irfan Rainy, DTM Funk, Jamz Supernova, and Alexander Nut. Get ready to relax and enjoy as she takes you on a musical journey, effortlessly blending the soulful rhythms of highlife, the irresistible sway of salsa, the funky grooves, and the uplifting melodies of gospel and broken beat.

A night of dance-floor exploration with London’s best-kept secret, Dean Bryce. A true music connoisseur showcases his musical mastery with an extended set over 4 hours digging into his vast and eclectic record collection.
With roots in the legendary Saxon Soundsystem and as the former A&R Director at Ninja Tune and Head of Music at Boiler Room, Dean has a knack for spotting and developing talent, launching the careers of artists like Peggy Gou. Now, he’s sharing his revered record collection with the world, keeping dancers moving with everything from House to Disco to Reggae.
Supported the fantastic selector and digger, Cosmo Sofi. A London-based Uruguayan DJ, Sofi’s sets are as eclectic as they are soulful. With a profound connection to music, her sets span from jazz to jungle, soul to house, ambient to dub, and more. SHEDDING HISTORIES W/ NORSICAA (SOUNDWAY RECORDS) & COSMO SOFI (SECRET SUNDAZE)
Shedding Histories returns to Grow Hackney after their summer break for a special party featuring incredible guest selectors Norsicaa & Cosmo Sofi.
Norsicaa is a DJ known for her eclectic mix of sounds traversing multiple genres and places through her shows on Worldwide FM and Soho Radio. As the label manager of the highly-respected Soundway Records she has overseen the releases and reissues of some of the best-known global music records of the past decade, so watching her bring this knowledge to the dancefloor will be something quite special.
Joining Norsicaa on the line-up will be the always exciting Cosmo Sofi who is a London based DJ from Uruguay. Sofi has been digging and DJing for half of her lifetime with a passion and curiosity for music of the world. This has led her to dig the less-heard of every genre making her DJ sets a unique and spiritual journey across many sounds from different times and places. Her monthly radio show Spectrums on Worldwide FM has gained her recognition and respect of the heads in the know and she's been sharing the stage with legendary DJs such as Gilles Peterson, Mr. Scruff, Secretsundaze, Joe Claussell, Soichi Terada, Colleen Cosmo Murphy, Coco Maria, Bradley Zero, Luke Una, Reiner Truby and many more.
Hosting the night will be Shedding Histories residents and curators Bena (Balamii) and Chameleonas (Radio Vilnius) bringing their distinctive blend of jazz, psychedelic and funk sounds from across the globe.

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum and Espresso Martini.
