ABOUT THE ARTISTS

We are very excited for the return of LAANI, a regular on the London nu-jazz and underground club circuits, is known for her eclectic, hypnotic style that fuses nu-jazz, neo-soul, broken beat, afro riddims, and house. With a wealth of experience from her work at Jazz Re:freshed and FULLJOY MUSIC, as well as unforgettable sets at Fabric, Drumsheds, and Printworks, LAANI brings the vibe every time. She’ll be delivering 4 hours of a rich, dynamic journey through global grooves that will move both body and soul.

Maria Hanlon is making waves in the capital with her soulful and deep selections, blending house, garage, and beyond. Since stepping onto the DJ scene just a few years ago, Maria has captivated audiences at major events like Secret Garden Party, Snowbombing, and Cross The Tracks, alongside her role as a presenter at Voices Radio. A weekly resident on Rinse FM, Mr. Redley’s sets are a mesmerizing blend of the eclectic rhythms of the UK scene intertwined with the deep, soulful sounds of Black America’s House and Industrial Techno movements.

With roots in Manchester’s vibrant club scene, Mr. Redley has honed his craft, shaping his unique sound that has captivated audiences worldwide—from the dance floors of Belgium and Croatia to the underground clubs of South Korea. His commitment to the black musical community resonates through his venture, Black Wine Club, where he merges music with the art of wine, introducing new audiences to both.

Currently making waves with his forthcoming debut EP 'Running Away’ - a sound he aptly describes as “London to Detroit—Mr. Redley is poised to take you on a transcendent musical journey at DeepDig. Drawing inspiration from Chicago house, Detroit techno, and the wider realms of acid, breaks, and the deeper cuts of electronic music, LORA’s sets are a journey through sound. She weaves in influences from R&B melodies, Hip Hop rhythms, and African percussion, blending genres with effortless skill. Her warm-up sets are known for their precise pacing, seamlessly building the atmosphere with eclectic selections and the occasional curveball, preparing the crowd for an unforgettable night ahead.

For October's edition of DeepDig, we welcome Matt Neale and Stu Clark, the masterminds behind WOLF Music Recordings for a 5-hour extended set. Since 2009, their passion for house and disco has seen them curate an impressive roster of artists like Medlar, Bicep, Frits Wentink, Session Victim and Ron Basejam. Known for their extensive record collection and deep musical knowledge, they bring the true essence of HOUSE culture to every set. Kisa, a key member of the Pan-African music collective Sample Chief and a resident DJ for London's Utopia party scene, curates soul-healing tunes from all corners of the music world. Inspired by the lively energy of New York Loft culture and the iconic vibes of Manchester’s Reno club, Kisa loves spinning in cozy spaces where the music truly speaks for itself, captivating everyone in the room.

Starting out as a DJ during the pandemic, she’s quickly made a name for herself, playing at the We Out Here festival and even landing on Mixmag’s prestigious ‘best mixes of the year’ list in 2023. Kisa’s name is steadily rising on international lineups, sharing the stage with big names like Shy One, Irfan Rainy, DTM Funk, Jamz Supernova, and Alexander Nut. A night of dance-floor exploration with London’s best-kept secret, Dean Bryce. A true music connoisseur showcases his musical mastery with an extended set over 4 hours digging into his vast and eclectic record collection.

With roots in the legendary Saxon Soundsystem and as the former A&R Director at Ninja Tune and Head of Music at Boiler Room, Dean has a knack for spotting and developing talent, launching the careers of artists like Peggy Gou. Now, he’s sharing his revered record collection with the world, keeping dancers moving with everything from House to Disco to Reggae.

Supported the fantastic selector and digger, Cosmo Sofi. A London-based Uruguayan DJ, Sofi’s sets are as eclectic as they are soulful. With a profound connection to music, her sets span from jazz to jungle, soul to house, ambient to dub, and more. Every track she spins has soul and a message, aiming to expand the listener’s consciousness.

DeepDig is a night curated by Grow, that brings some of our favourite DJs and producers to play the sets that they don’t usually get to play at bigger venues and festivals. Expect lengthy, no-holds-barred DJ sets in intimate settings, where they have free reign to take the crowd in whatever direction they like.

Reserved Tables: While our tickets do not include a table, we encourage you to book one in advance to secure your preferred spot. 30% of our tables are held back for walk-ins, so there’s still a chance to grab a table on the day of the event. Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.  The kitchen is open until 10pm.

With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, Vegan White Russian and Espresso Martini.

After our roadblock launch of the Deepdig series with Saachi and the follow up with NTS resident DJ Martha, we return with DJ, broadcaster & author Haseeb Iqbal on Dec 9 for an extended set!

Haseeb promises to take us on a journey as likely to move through Cosmic Jazz as Pakistani cinema soundtracks Lovers Rock, or Latin Psych. Always deep with the selections, this effortless genre hopper knows how to fill a dancefloor with the unconventional.
