Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

After two packed-out dances at Grow, we’re back canal-side on Friday 30th May with a guest who’s been high on our wishlist for a while — the incredible Allysha Joy.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Best known for her powerful solo work and as frontwoman of Naarm’s 30/70 collective, Allysha Joy returns to Grow for a rare DJ set. Last time she played with LAANI and if you were there, you know this one’s not to miss. Expect spiritual soul, bruk beats, deep jazz and raw, truth-filled cuts — all handpicked by one of the most exciting voices in global jazz-soul right now.
Joining her on the night are Overjoyed residents Gilla & Russ Ryan, keeping things moving from warm-up to wind-down with a blend of rare groove, house, and dusty beat science. If you’ve been to one of their parties before, you know what to expect: a room full of dancers, a red light and a proper sound system.

ENTRY INFORMATION
Entry is free before 9 PM, Early Bird tickets are £5, and general admission is £7. Pre-sale ticket entry is before 10 pm. Tickets on the door are £10 after 9 pm. There are very limited tickets in advance, with the majority available at the door.

There is no seating for the performance but you can book tables up until 8pm in other areas of the venue to enjoy food and drink and still enjoy the event in the main area. If you don’t book in advance, arriving early is recommended as tables are on a first-come-first-served basis.

After two stepping in the streets of Notting Hill in August, Overjoyed touch back down in traditional clubland at one of the most legitimate east side spots, Grow in Hackney Wick.
We’re thrilled to host the return of Overjoyed on Saturday, 15th February, for a Valentine’s Special at Grow, Hackney Wick. After the unforgettable energy of their first party here in November, this next installment promises another night of soulful sounds and irresistible grooves—perfect whether you’re coming with friends or celebrating with a partner.
Last time, Overjoyed brought the house down with a packed dance floor and beats that kept the vibe alive into the early hours. This time, they’re back with a Valentine’s twist and a headline set from the incredible Konny Kon (Children of Zeus). Expect everything from buttery R&B to deep Two Step cuts and BRUK—a sound that’s sure to steal hearts and move feet.
Joining Konny Kon are Gilla and Russ Ryan guiding you through a seven-hour journey of R&B, lovers rock, broken beat, and beyond. It’s a night dedicated to music for the heart, soul, and everything in between. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Over the last year we’ve moved overjoyed from the Rinse FM airwaves, to the top of The Standard, the bottom of Fabric and to the streets of W10 but wanted to bring it back to warehouse clubland. This mighty two tiered dance floor and sound that hits has grown from strength to strength in recent years: we cannot wait to bring our records to the dance.
A new venue means in part a new dance-floor to get acquainted to, with our sound running through soul, from the fast to the slow and the old to the new. Dive into our Worldwide FM & Rinse FM shows to get familiar. Joining us in the booth this time round we have NTS stalwart and Moonlighting instigator & co-founder, MarshmeLLo. From Rare Groove to Broken and Jazz to House, expect us to draw from all angles across this seven-hour canal side voyage.
