DJsoulprovyder

Ian Milne (a.k.a djsoulprovyder) has been a record collector and purveyor of 70’s soul, jazz, funk, latin and rare groove since 1991. Originally djing alongside the ten-piece acid jazz funk band Blk2Basic where they hosted a weekly live jam music session called 'Spontaneous Construction' which ran for nearly fifteen years. He then developed his own brand called the Soul Solution Soundsystem featuring various vocalists & musicians performing live over his DJ sets. His sets always take you on a journey... from his disco and afro-latin jazz funk/fusion roots to a deeper electronic afro-tech and broken-beat sound alongside past and present music with the flexibility of joining the dots and crossing over many musical genres.

Over the years djsoulprovyder has played at various venues across London including the world-famous Jazz Cafe in Camden, Ronnie Scott’s, Koko, Sketch, Momo’s, Madame Jojo’s, Groucho Club, East Village, H&G Shoreditch, POW and the CLF Art Lounge to name a few. He has performed at the Isle of Wight and V Festival for the award winning Bacardi B-Bar, the legendary Southport Weekender and Love Supreme Jazz Festival. As one of the resident DJ’s at Sunsplash Festival in Turkey for over eight years djsoulprovyder played alongside artists such as Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Osunlade, Karizma, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Phil Asher and Atjazz. Basil BlackIIBasic

Basil Isaac (A.K.A Basil BlackIIBasic) is one of London's most unique musicians and DJs with a career spanning over 35 years. Starting out as a professional dancer featuring in many TV shows and videos, he then went on to work with South African Dance Tropp Uthingo before shifting to a new career as a Percussionist and DJ. In the 90's Basil hosted many memorable nights at the Bass Clef, Wag Club, Blue Note, Bar Ruma and Guanabara to name just a few. Later he hosted one of London's longest-running jam sessions 'Spontaneous Construction' for over 10 years in Kensington. Basil continues to be a musical Power House with his passion for DJing and Percussion work being featured at some of the most iconic clubs and bars of London and beyond. Basils sets at Soul On The Canal Side for Grow have always been one of the highlights of thge summer as he returns for the 6th year running!

Collin Patterson

Collin Patterson has proved himself a consistent entertainer for many years now capable of rocking even the most discerning of dance floors. It’s a rare treat these days to find a DJ who can surprise the most jaded of ears but Patterson manages it with ease. When playing, you can bet your life there'll be a lot of dancing... especially near the front!... and without doubt Collin is one of the UK's best kept DJ secrets. However, or many years Collin was a constant force within the Southport Weekender event. At Southport Collin played deep, soulful house music with the individuality second to none and was always viewed as one of the rising stars of the event. Collin is perhaps one of the most individual of house DJs, eschewing the Soulful house standards and instead digging like a hip hop DJ for tunes from the leftfield and the deeper end of house. His bookings have included events such as Faith, Need2Soul, Soulsonic, MOS, Garage City and The Loft in the UK. He has also played the Reading Festival, T In the Park, The V Festival, Oxygen & The Electric Picnic (both in Ireland) and Isle of Wight Festival. Outside of DJing Collin has also Tour managed for the likes of Amp fiddler, Dwele, Tortured Soul, Moodymann and Incognito.

Late Night Basement Session

Si Kurrage

Si is one of West London’s original home grown talents and has been a dedicated vinyl junkie since the early 90s. Working firstly for the original rave orgs “World Dance” and “AWOL” and then “Milk and 2 Sugars”, Kurrage earned his stripes with some of the most legendary DJ’s in the business. He’s the cofounder of the infamous “Size Doesn’t Matter” seven inch only night and has worked alongside the recently departed Frankie Knuckles aswell as other legends such as Danny Krivit, Timmy Regisford, Tony Humphries and Norman Jay. Simon is notorious for throwing down the freshest beats when and wherever he can, blessing ear drums with his twisted take on what a DJ should be. Causing havoc, starting riots, leading your sons and daughters astray, coming home late, finding the the best crowds to get down with and generally spanking the ass out of the dance floor.
