GROW’S EVENT CALENDAR
Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

DEEPDIG W/ MARTHA (NTS) // 4 HOUR SET // BASS, CLUB, GARAGE & MORE
After our roadblock launch of the Deepdig series with Saachi, we return with longtime NTS resident DJ & now regular on BBC Radio 1, Martha!
Martha is a DJ and broadcaster from South London with roots in community radio and documentary making. Each of Martha’s thoughtfully curated radio shows navigate the fringes of electronic music, with a clear narrative that is grounded in community and storytelling. Martha’s approach to DJing is deeply inspired by movement, sport and Tempo, the collective she founded, where DJs and musicians encourage each other to run. Radio is where Martha is most at home, with a weekly slot Fridays 5pm on NTS and recent cover shows for the legendary Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1.
Deepdig is a night curated by Grow, that brings some of our favourite DJs and producers to play the sets that they don’t usually get to play at bigger venues and festivals. Expect lengthy, no holds barred DJ sets in intimate settings, where they have free reign to take the crowd in whatever direction they like.
Previous guests for Deepdig in it’s current & past form include DJ Amir, Saachi, K15, Laani, My Analog Journal & Thristian.

SHEDDING HISTORIES W/ DONNA LEAKE (NTS) & EDNA (GOAT GIRL) TILL 3AM
Shedding Histories are delighted to announce their latest party featuring the incredible selector and broadcaster Donna Leake, for a special session going on until 3am.
Donna is one of London's most exciting and versatile DJs, known for her underground and left-field selections from across the musical spectrum, from jazz to psychedelia to Afro-funk. She joins us on the back of numerous headline shows across London and around the world, on top of her recent warm-up set for legendary hip-hop artist Madlib. To see her do her thing on Grow's intimate and open dancefloor will be an absolute privilege.
Warming up the outdoor, canal-side terrace will be the always groovy Edna. Hailing from Deptford, Edna is a musician, selector and community devotee. She cherishes vinyl because it inspires presence and engagement, whilst honouring the past. Never ruling out a particular genre, her selections are rooted in groove, covering hip-hop, dub, reggae, funk and jazz, bringing sunshine (and her love of dancing) to the club. Edna is also a Brixton Radio Resident, where she enjoys showcasing her record collection and interviews her favourite artists in an attempt to unearth their magic.
As always, these guests will be joined by Shedding Histories curators and residents Bena and Chameleonas, whose broad selections of sounds from across the globe always keep the dancefloor moving.
