Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

Get ready for a sizzling summer night as Sample Chief presents the third edition of 'Village Boogie' at GROW on August 24th! This carnival warm-up promises to be an unforgettable celebration of rhythm and culture.
Prepare to be transported by an electrifying lineup of selectors who will keep your feet moving and your soul grooving until dawn. From vintage anthems to newer hits, the music will span the rich tapestry of Afro-Caribbean sounds, guaranteed to set your hips in motion.

Get ready to groove to an eclectic lineup featuring an array of dance-floor anthems and funky rhythms, both classic and contemporary, drawing inspiration from the vibrant tapestry of the African diaspora, sure to keep you moving until the early hours.
Among the stellar selectors gracing the decks is Babajide Tikare of Balamii and DTMF! TrYb, the esteemed host of NTS's 'Highlife and Sunshine' show, promises to spin a captivating blend of sounds.
Joining the lineup is Repeat Beat Poet, a vinyl aficionado and the charismatic host of Boat Pod Radio's 'Loose Egusi' show, known for his infectious energy and impeccable selections, Volta 45, celebrated for his mastery of vinyl and cultural programming expertise. Also appearing is Dare Balogun, the visionary DJ and founder of Vandelay Radio.
Last but certainly not least, don't miss out on a set from Sample Chief's very own Kisa, delivering her signature style to round off what promises to be an unforgettable night of musical exploration and celebration.

Sample Chief is a collective that celebrates African music culture (through education, entertainment and discovery). Over the past 4 years they've built a strong community of young creatives and avid music lovers.
We welcome them to Grow for ‘Village Boogie’ - a party inspired by 70’s and 80’s African funk and disco. It will be part of our multi-event International Women’s Day celebrations featuring vinyl-focused DJ sets from Tryb (NTS), Babat (Balamii) & more!

Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our own drinks such as Vegan Hemp White Russian and homemade Hackney Spiced Rum.
