Grow is independent and grassroots with international impact. Local and emerging artists are programmed alongside international artists.
Since GROW opened our doors in 2014, we’ve hosted 250+ events each year and had over 150,000 people through our doors.
Young musicians have jammed with Abass Dodoo (Ginger Baker band), Japanese contemporary dancers and indigenous didgeridoo masters from Australia, to name just a few. Our artist partners credit the collaborations, regularity of exposure and payments as helping them hone their craft. Those for come to Grow for the entertainment, food and drink experience a span of genres and together we celebrate diverse culture from around the globe to down the road.

GROW LIVE: DOLLARS TRIO // EP LAUNCH
To celebrate the launch of River in the Sky, the full 8-piece Dollars Trio live band will be performing at Grow. Expect an evening of captivating melodies and immersive grooves.

Dollars Trio returns with River in the Sky, their hotly anticipated EP that blends smoked-out southern soul with the cinematic flair of spaghetti western soundtracks. This new release showcases the remarkable vocal talents of Andreya Triana (Bonobo, Flying Lotus, Quantic) and Adeleye Omotayo (Amy Winehouse, Gorillaz, Matthew Herbert), adding depth and soul to their already rich sound.
Building on the success of their debut EP Wild West, which garnered support from Huey Morgan at BBC6 Music and earned them comparisons to acclaimed acts like Khruangbin, BADBADNOTGOOD, Menahan Street Band, and Hermanos Gutiérrez, Dollars Trio continues to push the boundaries of their unique sound.
To celebrate the launch of River in the Sky, the full 8-piece Dollars Trio live band will be performing at Grow, Hackney Wick on the 25th of September, 2024. Expect an evening of captivating melodies and immersive grooves as the band brings their latest project to life in an intimate, vibrant setting.
BOOKINGS
Book a table via the Opentable widget on the right for £6pp
Book a mezzanine table for the gig for £8pp. We can seat a maximum of 15 people that will have a great view of the performance.
We reserve 30% of our tables for walk-ups so still feel free to come down and grab a spot. There is plenty of standing room as well. We advise that you arrive between 6.30 and 7.30 pm to get a table.
Our kitchen is open until 10pm and serves a range of dishes and snacks. We have a range of drinks from the bar (open until 11.45pm) including Grow’s signature cocktails.
If you’ve booked a table via the Opentable Widgit, we recommend you turn up on time, as we cannot hold the tables for more than 15 minutes.

Happy Hour: Come to Grow between 5-7pm on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and enjoy offers on cocktails, wine and lager. From great rates on our specially curated organic wines, discounts on our signature cocktails to two of award winning lager for a tenner (!)
Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability. Our passion is for the cooking of the Middle East and southern Mediterranean so expect punchy flavours, warm spices and as always the best ingredients we can find to comfort and nourish the soul.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free. We design our spin on such drinks as Rum Punch, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum and Espresso Martini.

DOLLARS TRIO LIVE // FUNK, JAZZ & SPAGHETTI WESTERN SOUL
The Dollars Trio melds Retro Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz and cult spaghetti western soundtracks into something completely new and unique.
Written by Bonobo trumpeter Ryan Jacob and guitarist Tom Hancock and recently featured on BBC6 Music, their debut "Wild West" EP has been compared to the likes of such illustrious artists as Khruangbin, Menahan Street Band and BADBADNOTGOOD.
Dollars Trio live features Adeleye Omotayo, one of London’s best loved troubadours, known for his work alongside Amy Winehouse and Gorillaz.
The band will perform 2 sets on the night, beginning around 9pm.
They return for a special live set accompanied by special guest DJ Kosmek.
Kosmek
South London based selector dealing in afro, ambient, acid, and abstract forms of audio. Expect anything from traditional rhythms from around the world to deep analogue grooves.
Entry £6 from 9pm and £8 from 10pm

Towards the end of the night expect some gems from the 'Super Sonic Booty Bangers' label boss exclusive selections ranging from footwork, jungle and up tempo booty shaking bas

Written and produced by members of Bonobo Live, Alice Russell and Hackney Colliery Band their sound melds retro soul, hip hop, funk, jazz and cult spaghetti western soundtracks into something completely new and unique.
Their debut releases Numero Uno and The Chiefwah have been compared to the likes of such illustrious artists as Khruangbin, Menahan Street Band and BADBADNOTGOOD. This gig celebrates the launch of Dollars Trio new EP; Wild West
Guesting on vocals will be Adé Omotayo, one of London’s best-loved troubadours, known for his work alongside Amy Winehouse and with Gorillaz.
